Requirements for SSIS Packages

The following are of SSIS development may be the main reason why people report so much trouble using this set of Microsoft ETL Tools.

When developing SSIS packages, understanding requirements and pushing back on unrealistic requirements.  For example, I was once tasked with creating a package that could support an unlimited amount of variables.  No need to go any further.
